We require all travelers to purchase comprehensive travel insurance. This isn't optional — it protects you, your fellow travelers, and the group's financial health.
What your policy should cover: Trip cancellation/interruption (100% of trip cost), emergency medical treatment abroad (minimum $100,000), medical evacuation ($250,000+), baggage loss/delay, and travel delay. A good policy costs $150–$300 depending on age and trip cost.
Why it matters: A medical evacuation from Israel to the US can cost $50,000–$100,000 out of pocket. A broken leg requiring hospitalization could run $15,000+. Medicare does NOT cover you outside the US. Most domestic health insurance has extremely limited international coverage.
Cancel for Any Reason (CFAR): For an additional 40–50% premium, CFAR coverage lets you cancel for any reason up to 48 hours before departure and receive 75% of your trip cost back. It's worth it for travelers with health concerns or unpredictable schedules.
We recommend purchasing insurance within 14 days of your initial deposit to qualify for pre-existing condition coverage.
