Terms of Service

01
Acceptance of terms
By accessing our website, creating an account, or registering for a trip with Verity Israel (a DBA of Verity Journeys LLC at christianisraeltours.com; “we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are registering on behalf of a group, you represent that you have the authority to bind each member to these terms.
These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Verity Journeys LLC. Please read them carefully before booking.
02
Booking & payments
A booking is confirmed only after we receive your completed registration and the required deposit. Deposits are typically $500 per person and are due at the time of registration unless otherwise specified.
The remaining balance is due no later than 90 days before the departure date. If the balance is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel your registration and apply the cancellation policy below.
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Prices are quoted in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to adjust pricing due to significant currency fluctuations, fuel surcharges, or changes in government taxes and fees, with at least 30 days' notice prior to departure.
03
Rates
All rates are shown in U.S. Dollars (US$).
Rates are valid only for tourists holding a foreign passport, and not for Israeli citizens.
Every tourist who enters Israel on a foreign passport receives a B2 tourist visa slip at passport control. This slip exempts them from paying VAT (Value Added Tax), which applies to Israeli citizens.
The B2 slip has to be presented at every Israeli hotel on check-in. Do not leave it behind at the first hotel.
If the B2 slip is not presented at reception on check-in, the hotel will charge VAT.
All other persons entering Israel, including those with dual citizenship when one citizenship is Israeli, are subject to 18% VAT.
04
Hotel ratings
Israel does not have an official star-rating system for all of its hotels. Hotels on our multi-day tours are presented as Tourist Class, First Class, Superior Class, or Deluxe Class.
The equivalent standards are usually attributed as follows:
Hotel standards vary from country to country. The classes above are a guideline only. Our reservations team can give more specific information on the hotels used.
05
Hotel check-in and check-out
Check-in: 14:00 (2:00 p.m.)
Check-out: 12:00 (noon)
Check-in on Saturdays and holidays is two hours after sunset.
Special requests — bed type, a non-smoking room, connecting rooms, and similar — are passed to the supplier. They are not guaranteed unless we confirm them in writing.
Your name and details may not be registered with the hotel until 7–14 days before arrival.
06
Dinner supplements
Dinners included in a package, or added as an optional supplement, are served in the hotel dining room as a buffet.
Some tours include dinners in the package. Those tours do not include dinner on the first night (arrival day).
Where a dinner supplement can be added, dinner is not provided on the first night (arrival day).
On some tours, flight times mean a dinner supplement cannot cover every night. The number of dinners is shown on the optional supplement. For the exact days, ask the reservations team.
07
Airport transfers
Arrival and departure transfers included on multi-day tours beginning in Israel are provided only for clients who have hotel reservations — including pre-tour or post-tour nights — booked through us.
The maximum number of transfers per booking follows the number of rooms reserved. If clients arrive or depart on separate flights, any extra meet-and-greet and transfer is charged.
If a change puts passengers on a different or delayed flight, we are not responsible for a new transfer. Those passengers make their own way to the hotel.
08
Cancellation policy
Cancellations must be approved by us in writing. Unapproved cancellations are treated as no-shows.
The following refund schedule applies based on the number of days before departure:
We strongly recommend purchasing trip cancellation insurance. If we cancel a trip for safety, force majeure, or insufficient enrollment, a full refund will be provided.
09
Travel insurance
We strongly recommend that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies, evacuation, and lost luggage.
We are not responsible for losses that come from traveling without adequate insurance. We can recommend providers on request.
10
Limitation of liability
Verity Israel acts as an intermediary between travelers and third-party providers, including airlines, hotels, ground transport, restaurants, and local guides in Israel. We choose partners with care and are not liable for injury, loss, damage, delay, or irregularity caused by those third parties.
Our maximum aggregate liability for any claim relating to our services shall not exceed the total amount you paid us for the specific trip.
We act only as an agent for the companies that provide transportation, hotels, and other services. Daily tours may be operated together with other Israeli tour operators.
On multi-day tours, the sequence, the hotels, and the sites may change when circumstances require it. We may change the order of the tour as long as the sightseeing in the program is included. We may also change the hotel, city, or region used for an overnight.
11
Health & safety
Travelers are responsible for being physically fit for the planned activities. Tours involve significant walking on uneven ground, climbing steps, and changing weather.
Disclose medical conditions, mobility limits, and dietary needs at registration. We may decline or remove a participant whose condition may put them or the group at risk.
You are responsible for required vaccinations and health rules for Israel and any transit country. Consult your physician at least six weeks before departure.
12
Passport & visa requirements
All travelers must hold a valid passport with at least six months' validity beyond the return date. US citizens do not currently require a visa for tourism in Israel for stays under 90 days, though this may change.
Under Israeli law, every non-Israeli guest staying in a hotel, joining a daily tour, or receiving any other tourism service in Israel must provide passport details.
Non-Israeli guests who do not provide passport details on time may be charged 18% VAT by the supplier, as the law requires.
Send full name, passport number, and nationality at the time of reservation.
Some nationalities must arrange a visa before travel to Israel, Jordan, or Egypt. Others are exempt from a visa in advance and need only an ETA-IL authorization. The official list is published by the Population and Immigration Authority: which nationalities need a visa, and which need only ETA-IL.
On a multi-country tour that also visits Jordan or Egypt, a traveler who needs an advance visa for Israel and who returns to Israel afterward must hold a multiple-entry visa for Israel. Travelers who arrive in Israel and depart from Jordan or Egypt do not need a multiple-entry visa for Israel.
Arranging any visa required before departure is the client's responsibility.
Every visitor to Israel must have either a valid visa or an ETA-IL (Electronic Travel Authorization) approval before the journey starts. Apply on the official site: israel-entry.piba.gov.il.
You alone are responsible for the correct travel documents. We are not liable for costs from inadequate documentation, including denied boarding or entry.
13
Force majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay in providing services when the cause is beyond our reasonable control. That includes acts of God, accident, riots, war, terrorist act, epidemic, pandemic, quarantine, civil commotion, breakdown of communication facilities, natural catastrophes, governmental restrictions, acts or omissions, changes in laws or regulations, and national strikes.
Any of those causes may change how a tour operates. We are not liable for costs from a cancellation, or from an increase in the published price, caused by any of them, including extra costs for insurance, tests, permits, or other requirements.
14
Governing law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts of Palm Beach County, Florida.
15
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with a revised date. For material changes, we email registered users. Continued use of our services after a change is acceptance of the updated terms.
