1. Day 1· Coast

   Arrival in Israel

   Ben Gurion Airport · Tel Aviv

   Land at Ben Gurion, where our representative meets you and transfers you to your Tel Aviv hotel on the Mediterranean. The evening is yours. Overnight in Tel Aviv.

2. Day 2· Galilee

   Caesarea, Megiddo & Crusader Acre

   Caesarea · Muhraka · Megiddo · Acre · Galilee

   Travel north to Caesarea, the seaside Roman capital where Paul awaited his journey to Rome. At Mount Carmel's Muhraka, stand where Elijah confronted the prophets of Baal. Continue to Megiddo — biblical Armageddon — and on to Acre, with its vaulted Crusader halls and centuries-old harbour. Overnight in a Galilee kibbutz.

3. Day 3· Galilee

   Sea of Galilee

   Magdala · Sea of Galilee · Capernaum · Mount of Beatitudes · Yardenit

   A day on the shores where Jesus taught. Begin in Magdala, then sail across the Sea of Galilee and view the 1st-century 'Jesus boat' at the Yigal Alon Center. Walk the basalt ruins of Capernaum and St. Peter's church, pause at Tabgha and the Mount of Beatitudes, and end at the Yardenit baptismal site on the Jordan. Overnight in a Galilee kibbutz.

4. Day 4· Galilee

   Cana, Nazareth & the Jordan Valley

   Cana · Nazareth · Jordan Valley · Beit She'an

   Begin in Cana, where Jesus turned water into wine, then on to Nazareth and the Basilica of the Annunciation — built over the cave where Gabriel greeted Mary. Descend the Jordan Valley to Beit She'an, a great Decapolis city with colonnaded streets and a Roman theatre still intact. Continue up to Jerusalem for three nights.

5. Day 5· Jerusalem

   Jerusalem's Old City & the Via Dolorosa

   Mount of Olives · Gethsemane · Mt. Zion · Old City Jerusalem

   Open on the Mount of Olives with Jerusalem laid out below. Descend to Gethsemane and the Church of All Nations, then cross to Mount Zion for King David's Tomb and the Room of the Last Supper. Enter the Old City for the Western Wall and the Via Dolorosa, ending at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Overnight in Jerusalem.

6. Day 6· Jerusalem

   New City Jerusalem & Bethlehem

   Ein Karem · Israel Museum · Bethlehem

   Drive to Ein Karem, the hillside village where John the Baptist was born. Continue to the Israel Museum and the Shrine of the Book, home of the Dead Sea Scrolls. Cross into Bethlehem* for Shepherds' Field and the 4th-century Church of the Nativity, built over the grotto of Jesus' birth. *Bethlehem visits depend on current security conditions; if restricted, an equivalent biblical site is substituted. Overnight in Jerusalem.

7. Day 7· Judean Desert

   Judean Desert, Masada & the Dead Sea

   Qumran · Masada · Dead Sea

   Drive through the Judean Desert to Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. Ascend Masada by cable car — Herod's clifftop fortress and the last refuge of the Jewish zealots. End the day floating in the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth, with its famously buoyant water and mineral-rich mud. Overnight in Jerusalem.

8. Day 8· Jerusalem

   Departure

   Jerusalem · Ben Gurion Airport

   After breakfast, transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for your departure flight.
