A trip to the Holy Land is more than tourism — it's pilgrimage. The physical journey mirrors an interior one. In the weeks before departure, set aside time each day to prepare your heart through Scripture, prayer, and reflection.
Day 1 – Anticipation: Read Psalm 122 ("I was glad when they said to me, let us go to the house of the Lord"). Let the excitement build. Day 2 – Surrender: Read Isaiah 6:8 and ask God what he wants to show you. Day 3 – The Land: Read Genesis 12:1–3 and reflect on God's covenant promise tied to this specific land.
Continue through the week with passages on Jerusalem (Psalm 137), the Sea of Galilee (Mark 1:16–20), the wilderness (Matthew 4:1–11), and the cross (Isaiah 53). By departure day, you'll arrive not just as a traveler but as a pilgrim ready to receive.
